Ningyo - Contemporary @ Experimental Theatre, NCPA

Ningyo is a Japanese word composed of nin (man) and gyo (depending on the pronunciation of the fish or shape), which means mermaid or doll. Ningyo is an extraordinary dance performance, taking the audience in a completely different world which will not only explore the unknowing facts of the half - human, half - animal creature called the Ningyo but will also represent the structure of the piece in a performative process which questions the duality of this aquatic creature.
