Danyel Waro is a very special musician, singer and poet, and is considered a hero in the Reunion Islands where he hails from. He is a protagonist of the Maloya Revival (Maloya is a musical style with African, Madagascan and Indian origins, the blues of La Reunion), which was banned for a long period, and which was later adopted in the 70s by their movement for independence. Gulzar's Poetry - New Language at Bhaidas Hall & Juhu Jagriti Hall

Gulzar's urdu poetry's essence will reach a wider audience now. Raeesh Maniar took the initiative to translate selected work of Gulzar's lively words in Gujarati. Bhagat Charitable Foundation and Vishal Publication backed Maniar's ambitious project. The book is called Bandh Kaanch Ni Pele Par and is all ready to be launched. The dignitaries gracing the event are Shri Suresh Dalal and Javed Siddique. There will be a recitation of Gujarati poems by veterans from Gujarati theatre such as Meenal Patel, Manoj Joshi, Sneha Desai and Pratik Gandhi. The highlight of the evening would be Gulzar reciting his poems in Urdu. Music, though unplugged version, will further set the mood for the evening with performances by Alap Desai, Parthiv Gohil and Aishwarya Majumdar on the tunes composed by Alap Desai and Mehul Surti. The show will have Ankit Trivedi as the host for the evening.

Wax Tailor, aka JC Le Saout, made a remarkable impact worldwide with his debut Tales of the Forgotten Melodies. Fortune -Their influences, range from 60s Pop Rock bands such as the Zombies, The Troggs or Love, to basic Disco for its rhythm, or even the King of Pop himself Michael Jackson.
