Two boys growing up in a violent neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro take different paths: One becomes a photographer, the other a drug dealer. This film is shocking and disturbing, but offers a compelling look at life in the slums of Rio de Janeiro. The film was nominated for four Oscars.
